Hello Bitiya Manch: A Platform for Adolescent Empowerment
Hello Bitiya Manch is a vibrant collective of adolescent girls in Lakhimpur District, established as part of AIM Trust’s Adolescent Girls Program. It provides a safe and empowering space for girls to learn, share, and build their capacities to overcome societal barriers and shape their futures.
The initiative fosters solidarity and mutual support, offering life skills training, interactive sessions, and peer activities to help girls exercise agency, assert their rights, and make informed decisions. It aligns with AIM Trust’s broader goals, focusing on:
Empowerment: Building confidence through information, skills, and services.
Access to Education: Ensuring quality education in safe, inclusive spaces.
Community Mobilization: Engaging families to challenge harmful gender norms.
Policy Advocacy: Strengthening legal protections for girls’ rights.
Hello Bitiya Manch is transforming girls into active community participants and advocates for a more equitable society.
